Mackenzie Falk, Co-Founder

As a dental hygienist of 9 years, I love working with patients to make their dental visit a positive experience. I enjoy the patient-provider relationship and building trust with a patient, as I believe it helps with patient education and treatment acceptance. 

​

Through my years of being a dental hygienist, I’ve taken courses on marketing and social media. I enjoy connecting others and found a passion for using social media to do that. I found social media to be a piece of marketing that was lacking for most dental offices. I worked 8+ years at a busy and thriving dental office where we did not have the time to make dancing videos and trending tiktoks like I was seeing online. When we hired outside marketing companies, I felt like our voice wasn’t properly portrayed on our channels. All of this led me to start this company, Smile Socials. 

 

I live in the Minneapolis west-metro with my husband and three young children. I continue to practice dental hygiene part-time.

Cortney Konen, Co-Founder

My name is Cortney, I have been a licensed hygienist since 2020. I got into hygiene because I enjoy meeting new people and helping them improve their oral health to create a healthy and confident smile. I got involved in Smile Socials because I wanted to take my knowledge of dentistry and oral health and portray it on social media so dental offices can give all of their time and attention to their patients.

 

I was born and raised in Silver Lake, MN, and I am a current resident with my boyfriend, Maxwell, and my dog, Hank. In my free time, I like to run, try new restaurants, and spend time on the lake.
